Our Story

At Richaud Hospitality Group, we believe in building more than just restaurants — we build experiences that leave a lasting impression. Founded by a family with deep roots in the hospitality industry, we bring a rich legacy inspired by tradition and fueled by innovation.

Inspired by generations of restaurant experience, our family grew up immersed in a culture of flavor, service, and community. Today, Richaud Hospitality Group proudly continues that legacy in the U.S., blending our cultural heritage with bold, modern concepts.

Meet The Team

Stephanie Richaud - Founder & CEO

Hospitality has always been a part of Stephanie Richaud’s story. Raised in a family of hoteliers and restaurateurs, she discovered early on the magic of bringing people together through food and service. After years of hands-on experience and studying hospitality at FIU, she set out to build concepts that reflect her culture, values, and vision for meaningful guest experiences. From bold smash burgers to elevated speakeasy lounges, everything she creates is rooted in heart, hustle, and the belief that hospitality is about making people feel seen and cared for.

Rufino Rengifo - Partner & CCO

With a degree in Culinary Arts, a master’s in Food Management, and an Executive Chef certification from the American Culinary Federation, Chef Rufino Rengifo brings over two decades of global culinary leadership. He has served as Corporate Executive Chef for Celebrity Cruises, overseeing 2,500+ team members and curating menus for luxury cruises and mega-yachts, including events with Bravo’s Top Chef and Modern Luxury.

His culinary talents have been showcased at the James Beard House, Taste of London, and Food Network’s South Beach and NYC Wine & Food Festivals. Chef Rengifo has collaborated with top properties like the St. Regis Mexico City and Casa Brasileira in São Paulo. He currently leads Hospitality Strategy for the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center and serves as Area VP for Levy Restaurants. He also develops innovative restaurant concepts for Merchants Hospitality in NYC and beyond.

Vanessa Richaud - Founder & COO

With a strong background in business operations and community leadership, Vanessa Richaud brings energy and experience to the Smash Sisters team. She currently owns and operates Chill-N Nitrogen Ice Cream in San Antonio, a successful venture she has led for nearly three years.

In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Vanessa is passionate about mentorship and community impact. She serves on the board of YES (Youth Entrepreneurship Services) as the Vice President, which empowers youth through entrepreneurship education. Her commitment to both operational excellence and social change adds a meaningful layer to everything we do at Richaud Hospitality Group.

Luis Richaud - CFO

With decades of experience in managing and operating hospitality businesses both in Mexico and the United States, he brings deep financial knowledge, operational insight, and strategic guidance to the team. His legacy and leadership have laid the foundation for everything we are building today.
